Different from other organizations and institutions, performance appraisal of faculty in higher vocational colleges must establish an evaluation system which is in line with teachers' working characteristics. In order to improve the accuracy and objectivity of the assessment and encourage the staff to work enthusiastic, the faculty's awareness of the importance of performance appraisal should be improved, a scientific and rational evaluation system should be established, communication, daily assessment and annual assessment should be enhanced, qualitative and quantitative assessment should be comprehensively used, evaluation of faculty should be made fairly and impartially.
