The improvement and analysis of vector Gaussian approximation in signal space diversity

摘要This paper analyzed the receiver detection algorithm of the signal space diversity, specifically discussed the vector Gaussian approximation algorithm, and modified three aspects in the original algorithm: calculation methods of probability expectation and variance with regarding to each symbol, information dependence relationship in soft interference cancellation of the given symbol, and calculation of the probability density function. According to simulation results by new modified algorithm, on the condition of the lattice dimension N=16, iteration number Iter=6, and bit error rate BER=10-5, the performance gap between the Rayleigh fading channel and Gaussian channel is only 0.2dB; in high delay requirement system, there is no degrading space of the BER when iteration number is 4. © 2011 Binary Information Press.
